This was a vase of flowers a gardener had placed in an old Victorian greenhouse, to remove all traces of photographic detail I opened this shot up in paint shop pro, and gave it three passes of edge erode, then straight into E4 and painted in detailed watercolour using the Seurat brush, followed by soft cloner to bring back some detail in the petals and vase, then I softened the whole image, and back into psp to apply a border.

Very successful, I love the edging and the colours. Not at all photographic!

What I really like about this one Tolouse is the colours.  Red and blood red!  It all works well together.  Nice to see you do something different with the edges too, gives this a nice modern feel.

Well done Tolouse! I actually like the border on this, too. Something about the swishing of the brush that brought my attention to  it.

Thank you for your comments Otilia, I do understand what you are saying, and next time I will remember your words.
