    Bamburgh coastal shot

This was taken using my zoom from a fair distance, from seahouses in fact if you know the area.I  ran it in autopaint oils, restored some of the detail and played with the sky a bit ,just to please Squirrel.Trust me to take all of my photos of Bamburgh castle on what was probably the only day of my holiday when the sky was  blue but lifeless.Regards Wardy

Wonderful. Now I would like you to go there when the sky is dark and thunderous, raging and dramatic, with the waves crashing down on the rocks just before sunset .... Devil

Thanks Wardy, I do like my skies and this looks such a lovely spot it deserves a nice sky.

I like the treatment you have given this it look a little like some of the old masters water colour landscapes. Nice one.

Often out of my tree but never short of nuts

It's lovely to see another picture of Bamburgh. I agree with Squirrel and you that the sky is a bit flat, but you know you can change that with a little time and effort. The picture looks a little washed out to me, I wonder if increasing colour saturation would help, but I'm no expert in these things.
