    Guess what, everyone! My newest painting got picked by Zazzle as one of Today's Best! It's going to be in their "Today's Best" Showcase all day today! It's called "Blue Iris Impressions" and is listed under my name there, "pyrabird" It's a pretty big file, so I'll post a smaller version here. Do You think I deserve the honor?

    Congrats, it would be nice to see a bigger version here though to make it out a little easier.

    It's hard to make out at this size pyra, could you please edit the picture to a larger one?

    Often out of my tree but never short of nuts

    Okay! How's this? I don't think I can get it on here any bigger! I did it with the impressioinist brush at a small size in the center flowers for detail, and then used a larger brush for background leaves and the edging.

    I think you deserve the honor!  Very beautiful - I love irises.  Very nice composition.
