    Retreat.

These guys were photographed at a wildlife park ( not zoo). There was mayhem going on with the pack going nuts. This family group retreated and the adults comforted the scared younger guys. Just liked the poses they gave. Cleaned up in photoshop, Applied gouche painting to image and used seperate layer to do final touch ups. Resized, dodge and burned and sharpened in photoshop afterwards. Please click on photo to get intended effect.

Hi Ric, this is great and I just love the sense of concern and disapproval in the faces of the adults and also the lovely colour and texture you have achieved.

absolutely stunning - this is only a personal opinion but it would have been nice if you had concentrated on the mother and baby, and had time to zoom in and lose the rest of the picture. Just that mother and baby alone would have been an amazing picture. It is so expressive and a lovely image of motherhood.

Thank you, This is one of the 20-30 photos taken. I will find a mother and baby one and try that one shortly. This however was meant to show the anguish that the whole family showed. I will get to work onthe other one though. thanks again

I'm glad you reminded everyone of that ric. You never get the full effect of the painting unless you see them full size.

This is great. The bigger image gives me the feeling of an actual painting with the textures applied.
