    I am trying to post an image I made with Essentials 4. here goes! It's done with a combination of watercolor and oil. It's called "Beach Birds".

    a lovely composition Pyra, but tell me is there a reason for it being a gif file, as opposed to a jpeg, you lose so many subtle colours and tones that way, sometimes it is a good thing to do deliberately, but this image deserved the full works methinks.

    I prefer gif over jpeg when I'm saving for the internet, because I lose less data, and the color transitions are smoother because I dither the colors. I think it's mostly a personal thing.

    It's a lovely picture Pyra. I think I tend to agree with Toulouse that I would maybe like a little more detail, but you say you intend it to look this way, which does it is true give it the feeling of a memory rather than a clear hard image.
