Thanks Anne, I would prefer to cut a flower and photograph it indoors, but as this flower was not in my garden I had to do it in situ, and considering the windy day the flower was difficult to keep in focus as it flapped around, and the light levels were so low during the heavy rain yesterday that a high shutter speed was out of the question. A helper to hold a transparent umbrella upwind might help. Have you any ideas on this subject?
