    This is the first painting from the recent festival.  I have been in overload making a web site for a charity so the art has slowed down.

    Great Pic artisan. A terrific subject to paint.  I would have loved to have painted it myself.

     I can't help but think with your skills artisan that this piece would look great on black, or a darker background.  It would really make the red sing.

    Would you consider doing another version, just to see what it would look like?

    Dianne, my picture updated but not the text.  I did this quickly to the small picture but I think it is better so I may go back and update the larger version soon.  Is this what you were thinking?

    Yes Ron, this is what I was thinking.  I would however keep the black fairly plain as you don't want to have to many conflicting pattern elements.

    I do really think the black gives it pizazz don't you?

    I've only seen the updated version, but think it is terrific. I like the splash effect which seems to continue out from the feathers.
